Hanging around the house

Brooke loves to eat phone cord. I only let her play with it when I'm in the kitchen though!!!

Love this picture!!! Kinda looks like her teeth!!! lol

We moved to the dining room table to wrap Christmas presents. She loves to help Mommy!!

My brown-eyed girl!

She doesn't like to wear her socks...apparently they are better to eat!

Visiting Daddy in the garage. Boy I look like crap!!!

Brooke hanging out on our old bedroom furniture in the garage. It's been sold!!

10 months old!

I am still in a little bit of a shock today that my little baby born yesterday it seems like is now 10 months old! Where does the time go??? I'm already planning her first birthday because it will be here before we know it!! She is such a joy in our lives!! I just love every aspect of her being. Her "talking", cooing, slobbering, making an absolute mess during meals and how she loves her baths. I could go on and on...Our little girl is losing her baby fat (well every where but her arms at the moment). She is a very tall girl! Just a couple weeks ago she was 29.5 inches long which put her in the 94% for her age. I think she will be tall like her Nina and Aunt Kelly. She has dropped from 99% to 84% for her weight at 21 lbs 13 oz. Here are a few pictures taken this morning during breakfast. I have a ton of pictures to post on another blog that I hope to get to in the next day or so. Happy 1o months sweetheart!!!

My happy little girl.

Brooke's First Halloween!!!

I continued the tradition of going to my sister's house for Halloween this year. Jeff has actually been gone the past 2-3 Halloween's. I'm so glad he was home for Brooke's first!!! We took our ATV over to their house and hooked it up to Pat's (my sister's neighbor) trailer and cruised around the neighborhood with all the kids. Brooke seemed to enjoy it! I think Daddy really enjoyed it too!!!!

The most beautiful strawberry, a red vixen/devil and a convict.

Riding on the trailer.

The escaped convict running away with a strawberry.

Trick or Treating with Daddy.

Here is a short video of Brooke's first Halloween/trick or treating.

Angela and Gavin.

Angela made Gavin's costume. He was Boots from Dora the Explorer. He was soooo cute!!!

My handsome convict.

We ran into this lady on our journey around the block. Can you guess what her costume is??? Jeff thought she was a pedophile!!!

"A chest of drawers!!" Great idea!!

Brooke trying on Lilly's cat ears.

She reminds me of Pinocchio when he was turning into a donkey and got his ears. LOL

This was the first house Gavin visited tonight. He was hilarious!!!! Notice what he does when he goes up to the lady!!! The lollipop he holds up at the end was in his hand the entire rest of the night!! He was so funny and proud of his candy.

more Gritz activities

Just in case you missed this HILARIOUS picture of Jeff on facebook...He had parking duty at the fair compliments of his squadron. He looks like he's 16 with that hat on!

Lunch at Johnny Carino's last week with Daddy.

Brooke trying to eat the specials.

Jeff's squadron had a fall festival thing where the kids dressed up. This is the only picture I got of Brooke in her costume. I guess you'll have to wait until Halloween to see our little strawberry.

Brooke, my Mom and I went to a baby shower last Sunday. Brooke's 10th cousins were there so she sat with them. I think Madison (the one in the pink shirt) regretted wanting Brooke to sit beside her.

Brooke, Madison and Kaylyn.

Madison (who just turned 2) strapping Brooke into a booster seat. She came over and wanted us to put the "little baby" in the seat. Madison still wears 6-12 month clothes at 2 years of age. Brooke is 9 months wearing 18 month clothes. LOL

After the baby shower we headed to the fair. It was nice and cold outside. This is Brooke and I after seeking shelter from the weather. We left shortly after this picture was taken.

I watched my sister's kids this past Monday while they went to an out of town concert. I always take Brooke's walker with me when I go. She had the best time chasing Gavin down. Gavin's power wheel was no match for Brooke's speed!!!

Brooke with her first Pumpkin bucket.

I think the Pumpkin looks a little happier in this picture. I'm not quite sure why she made this face. She was in a great mood as usual.

Every year, I buy Dutch a Halloween bucket. He loves them!!!

Brooke being silly in her "I'm so cute it's scary" shirt from Grandma.

Spaghetti for Lunch today!

Brooke first ate her yummy spring vegetables (which are a nice green color) then she pigged out on my spaghetti. She loves it!!!

This is just in case you wanted to know what it looked like in her mouth!! She was showing it off for the camera!! lol
