Day 1 in Maggie Valley

As most of you already know, every year the Gritz family gets together in Maggie Valley, NC. Nina and Poppi went up a week earlier than everyone else to get the cabin ready for all the family and since I am a stay at home mom and had nothing else planned, Brooke, Kalyn and I went up a day earlier. We left at 4:45am Thursday morning and got there at 9:30am. I was in a little of a funk when I got there since Jeff was not there with us. This was my 5th year with the Gritz family and every year I had been there with Jeff. Luckily, Brooke isn't old enough to really enjoy the activities we do in the area so he didn't miss much as far as that goes. HE BETTER BE THERE NEXT YEAR THOUGH!!!! Here are a few pictures from Day 1 of our trip.
