It's a GIRL!!

No, not me! My sister gave birth to a beautiful, 8lb 5.90z baby girl this morning at 9:44am. She was a very long 21.5 inches! We are so happy for her and her family. As you may or may not know, this baby was conceived 2 years after my sister had her tubes clamped, so she's a little miracle baby!

The nurses were betting she was a 9 pounder. She fooled them all. Shelby still holds the record at almost 9lbs 2oz.

As soon as I showed Brooke the baby she was hooked! She wanted to watch her every second. She was even saying "hi" to her.

I finally managed to get a picture of her with her eyes open. I even got to change her diaper (She did not like to be exposed!)

As my sister was in labor, the reality hit me...that will be me in a few weeks!!! I was so worried about how Brooke would handle a new baby, but she was so cute with her new baby cousin and didn't seem jealous when I was holding her at all. I think she will be a very loving and very gentle big sister. I guess we will find out soon enough! Congrats again to the Yuhas family!!!
