Where does the time go????? She's growing up so fast!!!! I get tears in my eyes thinking pretty soon she'll be wanting to borrow the car!!! Of course by then, there won't be any cars. We'll all be flying around Jetson style. Here are some pictures from the days activities. We met the neighbor across the street (who has 10 month old twin boys!!) at the base commissary for the case lot sale (which wasn't as great as people made it out to be.) Afterwards, Brooke and I made a quick trip to target to pick up some items to make a gift basket for a couple on base who recently had a baby girl. This is the first time we tried Brooke's new basket cover. I figured since she's a big 5 months old we would try it out. She can't really sit up without falling over so I borrowed the pillow from her tummy time mat (Thanks Angie - 2 gifts in one!). She seemed to like the idea for a little while. The dots kept her busy! We met Uncle Steven for lunch at Sonic. Brooke missed it thought because she was asleep. We then headed home, snacked on some apple sauce while waiting on Poppi to arrive. Of course, being the wonderful eater that we are, she finished her applesauce very quickly. We let Dutch out of the backyard and waited around outside for Poppi. After playing in the water for a few minutes, Poppi was here!!
The cart cover doubles as a high chair cover too! Our first time trying it out at a restaurant. We were at Outback Steakhouse for Happy Hour (well Poppi and I..hehe) and of course dinner.
She makes the funniest faces....lol

isn't it fun trying all her new stuff?! i love that seat cover! i can't believe she is 5 months already, though...
