After watching the forecast call for snow for a week, we started to believe it would snow! We woke up to rain Friday morning but after a few hours it was supposed to turn into snow. We stared out the window for what seemed like an eternity. I think Brooke and I finally gave up and decided to take a nap. What a surprise it was to wake up with everything covered in white!!! I was so excited!!!! I immediately put on my snow gear and headed outside (Brooke was still asleep). Dutch seemed to be pretty excited about the snow too!! Jeff came out and we scoped out the neighborhood and how cool it looked covered in snow! Brooke finally woke up from her nap, got dressed in her snow gear and headed out for some fun in the snow.

Brooke and I walking around in the snow. I think the total snowfall was 4 inches of accumulation which is a blizzard for us. I wish it had last longer!!!!

It is beautiful, isn't it?! How fun for Brooke to get to experience that at her own home. I love the "white stuff" too as long as it's not bitterly cold and snowing almost every day like it has this year for us. I'm so over it now. But the kids never seem to tire of it and Ash loves playing in it more than anything. Wish we lived closer so the kids could enjoy snow together :) If I could ship some of our mounds snow to you I would!
