Brooke's First Halloween!!!

I continued the tradition of going to my sister's house for Halloween this year. Jeff has actually been gone the past 2-3 Halloween's. I'm so glad he was home for Brooke's first!!! We took our ATV over to their house and hooked it up to Pat's (my sister's neighbor) trailer and cruised around the neighborhood with all the kids. Brooke seemed to enjoy it! I think Daddy really enjoyed it too!!!!

This was the first house Gavin visited tonight. He was hilarious!!!! Notice what he does when he goes up to the lady!!! The lollipop he holds up at the end was in his hand the entire rest of the night!! He was so funny and proud of his candy.

Jeff's squadron had a fall festival thing where the kids dressed up. This is the only picture I got of Brooke in her costume. I guess you'll have to wait until Halloween to see our little strawberry.

Brooke, my Mom and I went to a baby shower last Sunday. Brooke's 10th cousins were there so she sat with them. I think Madison (the one in the pink shirt) regretted wanting Brooke to sit beside her.

Madison (who just turned 2) strapping Brooke into a booster seat. She came over and wanted us to put the "little baby" in the seat. Madison still wears 6-12 month clothes at 2 years of age. Brooke is 9 months wearing 18 month clothes. LOL

After the baby shower we headed to the fair. It was nice and cold outside. This is Brooke and I after seeking shelter from the weather. We left shortly after this picture was taken.

I watched my sister's kids this past Monday while they went to an out of town concert. I always take Brooke's walker with me when I go. She had the best time chasing Gavin down. Gavin's power wheel was no match for Brooke's speed!!!

Brooke first ate her yummy spring vegetables (which are a nice green color) then she pigged out on my spaghetti. She loves it!!!

Our Maggie Valley weekend with Nina and Poppi

Nina and Poppi had decided to go to the cabin on October 6th. We decided to head up on Friday when Jeff got back from Las Vegas. We arrived at the cabin around 11pm. We had a great time!! It's so relaxing up there!!!! While the guys golfed on Saturday, Nina, Brooke and I went to the Biltmore Mall. Boy was that mall a joke. It must be closing down because the Dillard's had everything 70% off plus and additional 30-40% off most items. We stayed in there for several hours!!! We grilled some filets for dinner that night and played another game of scrabble while stuffing our faces with chocolate chip cookies. We had planned to stay until Monday night, but after checking the weather forecast while eating at Joey's, we decided to hurry back to the cabin, pack and immediately head out. Nina kept Brooke awake while we packed and loaded the car. She passed out shortly after leaving and slept most of the way home.

After a quick search we found the "boulder" laying in the trunk next to Jeff's golf shoes. I removed the evidence before Poppi got to take his picture. Sorry Poppi!!!
